I can't believe that it has been almost a month since I have posted. I have taken hundreds of pictures since the last post, but haven't shared them. I guess that I do not want to bore anyone with the same old bath, coloring, being a kid pictures. Don't get me wrong, I could look at these pictures (and do) and never grow tired of them. But when the pictures are not of your own children, well you just might get bored. Here are a few recent pictures that I will share. And I promise more exciting photos to come...when the flowers bloom, the weather is nice, and the park is not under 4 inches of water!
Here are some quick snaps...and a few post processes of our date night on Friday. All of these pictures were taken in my living room on a blank wall and then I added a few textures for fun!
Color or black and white?
Here are a few self portraits of Emiry and some pictures of Elli. Elli is always a little too busy to smile for Mommy!
And to end the post, and the night, a few pajama shots after an hour shower this evening!

Down on the farm...
The girls and I (and Doug too!) were able to make a short trip home to my parents' farm to enjoy the beautiful weather.
My dad has a bottle calf and we let the girls go with to feed it!
Grandpa had to start for us...
The girls weren't quite sure if they wanted to get too close...
We also visited Great Grandpa and Grandma Stanczyk!
The girls practiced driving Grandpa Jim's tractors!
Then Emiry drove a tractor more her size. Elli thought it would be fun if she would get pulled in the wagon!
Then, to top off a great visit, the girls helped pick eggs. Elli was scared, but Emiry showed no fear!

Playing outside means...
I am behind on posting...and taking pictures. Elli experienced a tonsil hemorrhage day 6 post surgery. This called for us to be admitted to the hospital. Upon chest xray, the doctors found pnuemonia and this called for IV antibiotics and three days in the hospital. Today was the first day that she is fever free! Yay :) This meant a lot of playing outside time. Don't get me wrong, I loved all the cuddles I was getting, but playing outside and running and laughing is so much more fun!
Playing outside means a photo-op for Sopia and Chloe!
Playing outside means being stylish:
Elli in bracelets :)
Emiry in necklace (and ring!)
Playing outside means rock hunting!
With stylish shoes of course!
Playing outside means silly faces :}
Playing outside means sidewalk chalk!
Playing outside means running from mommy when she wants to take pictures!
Playing outside means silly dog toys!
And of course, playing outside means Elli Grace feels better :)

Textures
So, I have been really trying to learn how to use photoshop...
TRYING, mind you :)
Anyway, here is a picture that I tried to put a layer on. I also cloned out the light. I processed it quickly and it wasn't until I uploaded it on here did I see the "blurriness" on the edges of Emiry's skin. Lesson learned...next time, I will take more time!
Here is the before...
And AFTER!!!

Elli
Elli had her tonsils out on Friday. She has been doing ok...drinking as much as possible, eating nothing (just like usual), and getting in a lot of cuddle time. She spiked a fever the past two days and I called the ENT and he said it would be ok to just watch. I thought that I would share a picture of her from supper tonight. She came to the table with her boots on. She is just like a cowgirl, rough and tough and "ain't gonna let no" surgery get her down :)
